Steve Sly is the President of Stabilitas Energy, Inc. with over 20 years of experience in the energy industry and over 30 years of experience with mathematical and statistical modeling and undergraduate teaching. Steve works with many clients helping them hedge energy related risks. He also leads consulting projects, including: developing structured risk management game plans, modeling structured pricing, delivering mark-to-market reports, performing hedge accounting analysis (ASC 815/FAS 133) and documentation, helping clients with contract and credit requirements, and writing risk policies. He emphasizes the quantifying and hedging of direct fuel & fuel surcharge and weather related risks. Steve specializes in alternative risk solutions, such as multiple trigger options tying weather derivatives to various commodities in natural gas, heating oil, and power. Steve has numerous years brokering, trading, and structuring energy risk management solutions for corporate hedgers. Steve is Series 3 and Series 30 licensed.
Jim Baldauf is the EVP of Business Development and a leader in finance and business development focused on the energy sector. After starting his career in natural gas Jim has gone on to work for several energy and financial companies before starting his own company. With a mixture of subject matter expertise and relationship management, Jim brings all the tools necessary to help clients succeed. Jim brings with him an extensive and cultivated network of people and resources to all his endeavors. Jim has been recognized for his community service and involvement with several advisory groups.
Chris Robino is the EVP of Marketing and Technology. Chris has 30 years of leadership experience building business and guiding leading organizations. An accomplished corporate strategist and senior project manager, his vision and expertise in organizational performance have driven notable achievements in the energy and healthcare sectors.
